2009 SAPUTO CHEESE SCOTT STREET PLANT
14TH ANNUAL WALLEYE FISHING TOURNAMENT

On Saturday June 27, 2009 Teamsters Local 200 members at Saputo Cheese, Scott Street Plant, held their 14th Annual Walleye Fishing Tournament.

Tournamnet organizers and Local 200 members Dave Immel and Kurt Loehr explained to Business Agents Steve Nelson, Randy Monroe and YRCW retiree Gary Nelson that this tournament was originally organized to promote comradery and unity among Teamster members 14 years ago.

After witnessing this event and observing members, family and friends participating, Agent Steve Nelson stated, "their hard work and dedication have made this tournament a great success and will be for many years to come."

The team of Dave and Tim Streblow received 1st prize with a total weight of 12.46 lbs. and narrowly missing the largest fish which was caught by Dennis Schuppe with a weight of 4.97 lbs.

2nd place went to the team of Tim Iwen and Brett Martin - 10.96 lbs.
3rd place went to the team of Jon Muench and Dave Knuepple - 10.37 lbs.
4th place went to the team of Dennis Schuppe and Jerry Buechel - 10.20 lbs.

The Union members of Saputo Cheese thanked Teamsters Local 200 for their raffle articles, the donated money provided by the officers and agents and for becoming involved with their tournament for the first time in its history.
